The articles include photographs and news stories published in various newspaper articles, local and international, and show both people involved with the search and subsequent rescue of Dye. Photos were taken by Charles "Chuck" Morrison and can be found in his collection. The search lasted for 11 days between July 7 and July 18, 1971. Morrison sent photographs to Life, some of which may have been published with their first and follow-up interview with Kevin Dye. It is understood from a piece of correspondence that Life was sending Morrison his prints back but may have misplaced his negatives. It is also possible that the negatives are in the repository if they were eventually returned to him. Also available through the repository are also all of the photographs that Morrison collected on the search and rescue.
