<text>This digital collection page contains 39 digitized photographic prints of the Army search and Rescue of epileptic nine-year-old boy Kevin Dye on Casper Mountain and around Crimson Dawn. The photographs show both people invovled with the search and subsequent rescue of Dye. They were taken by Charles "Chuck" Morrison and can be found in his collection. The search lasted for 11 days between July 7 and July 18, 1971. Morrison sent photographs to Life, some of which may have been published with their first and follow-up interview with Kevin Dye. It is understood from a piece of correspondence that Life was sending Morrison his prints back but may have misplaced his negatives. It is also possible that the negatives are in the repository if they were eventually returned to him. Also available through the repository are also all of the newspaper articles that Morrison collected on the search and rescue.</text>
