Of all the love you get
Of all the praise, and adoring craze
And the attention that you’ve met
I could be jealous
Of your skills which always abound
Of your talent and grace, and first place in the races
That I care so much about
I could be jealous
Of your charming, chiseled face
Of the eyes who will meet, your tempting physique
And the many hearts that you’ll race
In any of these envies I could fall
And my heart could buckle and bend
My eyes could compare my rough to your fair
And lead down a path with no end
But I won’t go down that path today
For I know where my true worth comes from
Not from skills or from praise, nor from strength or from face
But from the loving Lord above
From him alone my value comes
Not how alike I am to you
