After all of these times and all these years
You find that in this same place you remain
You’ve been through many trials, shed your tears

I know you have had your share of dark thoughts

That’s why, you’ll find, I’m writing this letter
I am not the one to ask if things will
Improve, I don’t know, and neither do you
Push yourself along, even if by will
It’s really all any of us can do
What I’ll say to you my friend, is “hold on”
