Description

Dinwoody Plate 23

This complex panel is devoted entirely to "Storm Men". These men were medicine men whose business was to bring storms. The zig-zag lines represent thunder and lightning. The dots indicate hail. If you look closely, you can see clouds hanging over their heads. The right figure has become quite worn, but is still clear enough to represent another "Storm Man".
