A Labor Day Tetons Climb at Petzoldt Ridge & Owen-Spalding Route was organized after Walt's death, and several of Bailey's friends and WMCC members attended: Gary Cole, Dean Moore, Ray Jacquot, Ron Endsley, Orren Church, Havyn Bradley, Jim Kothe, and Ken Johnson
