A boatride through beautiful Fremont Canyon will reveal the diverse geology of the region. A MOUNTAIN MAN EXPERIENCE, 1820-1835 Participants will explore the everyday activities of the mountain man including hunting, food preparation, clothing construction and decoration, and shelter building by attending an authentic 1830's "Trapper’s Camp" on Casper Mountain. HISTORIC TALKS AND TREKS Participants will trace the western movement along the Mormon and Oregon Trails with on-site lectures at Fort Caspar, a Mormon river-crossing. Independence Rock, Devil's Gate, Fort Fetterman, and the Douglas Pioneer Museum. JULY 12, 1987 - $^^(7 //' ALONG THE OREGON TRAIL A widely published Wyoming author will describe the pioneer movement west as participants make on-site visits to Fort Caspar, a Morman river-crossing. The College is planning a reunion on Thursday, July 30, for Casper College classes of 1947, 1948 and 1949. Their date was chosen to coincide, but not interfere, with our NCHS reunion, since many of our classmates either attended or had friends attending Casper College and will want to partici­ pate in the College reunion. Ue have all been invited to do so, and in tuim have extended our invitation to those Casper College class members to attend our Friday and Saturday func­ tions . At this time we know the College is planning a Sign-up Break­ fast, a Luncheon, a tour of the College facilities, and an evening Bar-B-Q on campus, followed by group attendance at a play in the new Gertrude Krampert Theatre all of this taking place on Thursday, July 30.
